Nov. 08 declared as special Parliament day

COLOMBO (News 1st); November 08th has been declared a special Parliament day. The day has been declared as a special Parliamentary day to give the Government an opportunity to answer 50 questions that it was unable to answer. The Leader of the House, Dinesh Gunawardena stated that the decision was taken at the Committee on Parliamentary Business which convened today (21). It has been decided to give the ruling party, as well as the Opposition the opportunity to ask Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa two questions in Parliament on November 10.
