Final decision on importing fertilizer, tomorrow (18)

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Agriculture says a final decision on importing Nano Nitrogen Urea Fertilizer will be made tomorrow (18).
Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture Prof. Udith Jayasinghe said a meeting to make the final decision regarding the importation Nano-Nitrogen Urea Fertilizer will be held at the Presidential Secretariat at 09:00 a.m. tomorrow.
He added that based on the final decision made, 100,000 liters of Nano-Nitrogen Urea Fertilizer could be airlifted to Sri Lanka by Tuesday (20).
A cost of of Rs. 9 billion will be incurred to import 2.2 million liters of Nano-Nitrogen Urea Fertilizer.
