People have lost faith in Government: MP Mayantha

COLOMBO (News 1st);  The people in the country have lost their faith in the Government, SJB MP Mayantha Dissanayake says. Speaking during a SJB press conference held today (16), the MP said that he never dreamt of a situation where the country would fall into such a bad state. " We never dreamt that the country's economy, foreign policy and all our sectors would be affected in this way. I don't think even the 6.9 million voters also imagined that all sectors of the country would become this bad," he said. However, the real question is whether the Government can really save Sri Lanka from this plight as the people have lost faith in this Government. MP Dissanayake also mentioned that the lines to obtain visa and passports have become miles long, as people are eager to leave Sri Lanka.
