India, Sri Lanka to deepen defence ties

COLOMBO (News 1st);  New avenues must be explored to deepen the defence ties between India and Sri Lanka, the Defence Secretary and COAS of the Indian Army discussed. The relevant points were discussed during a meeting between the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army (COAS) General Manoj Mukund Naravane, met the Defence Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne (Retd) and General Shavendra Silva today (13). Moreover, the close camaraderie and cooperation between the two nations was also discussed.
