COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka’s Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila says that fuel prices will have to be increased if the Finance Ministery does not provide relief/priceconcessions.
He made this comment during a media briefing in Colombo on Wednesday (13).
The Minister said Lanka IOC had requested to increased the price of a liter of Petrol by Rs. 15/- and a Litre of Diesel by Rs. 25/-.
He said the CPC had also requested a price hike as well.
Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila said these requests are being considered and a final decision is yet to be reached,
