Close associate of Makandure Madush "Podi Pattie" arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st);  "Podi Pattie", who is suspected to be a close associate of Makandure Madush, has been arrested by the Police yesterday (8).

Police said that the Kalutara Crimes Division also seized a hand grenade, a firearm and 5 bullets which were discovered in his possession.

He has been identified as a 29 year old Ladduwa Hewage Sujeewa Ruwan Kumara alias 'Podi Patty'.
