COLOMBO (News 1st); According to the Civil Aviation Authority, the 75 passengers limit imposed on aircraft carrying unvaccinated passengers has been lifted from now on. Accordingly, Sri Lanka is fully open for vaccinated tourists and other vaccinated inbound passengers at the moment, but unvaccinated passengers must still undergo a 14-day quarantine. Meanwhile the Bandaranaike International Airport said that fully vaccinated passengers with an endorsement of the Airport Health Office on their vaccination certificate are allowed to engage in duty-free shopping. However, unvaccinated passengers are not allowed to shop at the counters as they will be immediately directed to quarantine.
