Parliamentary Council calls for nominations for RTIC

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Parliamentary Council has decided to call for nominations for vacancies in the Right to Information Commission of Sri Lanka. According to the Parliamentary Communications Unit, the Parliamentary Council has decided to call for nominations from the Bar Association of Sri Lanka, organizations of publishers, journalists and editors and other civil society organizations. The decision has been reached during a meeting of the Parliamentary Council which was held under the Chairmanship of the Speaker.
