95% of those above the age of 30 fully vaccinated - PMD

COLOMBO (News 1st); The presidential task force to curb the spread of the pandemic has requested each sector in the country to abide by health guidelines even after the lockdown is lifted. In a statement, the task force emphasizes the importance of the staff of public and private institutions abiding by the guidelines not only at the place of employment but also during the transportation of the employees as well. Meanwhile, it further states that about 95% of those above the age of 30 in the country are fully vaccinated, in addition to the ongoing programs of vaccinating children between 12-19 with co-morbidities and those between 20-30.
