COLOMBO (News 1st): The State Ministry of Transport says that despite the curfew being lifted tomorrow (01), it has decided not to operate any trains for the next two weeks.
State Minister Dilum Amunugama stated that bus services are also planned to only be operational in certain provinces.
He said that these decisions were taken at a special discussion held yesterday (29) under the patronage of Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa.
Accordingly, State Minister Dilum Amunugama added that public transport will only be operational according to the number of passengers allowed on buses and trains.
