Another suspect in connection to grenade in hospital, arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st):  Sri Lanka Police arrested another suspected connected to the discovery of a hand grenade inside a lavatory of private hospital in Naranepita.

The 22-year-old suspect was arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division based on the information extracted from the main suspect connected to the case.

Moreover, the Police further stated that it is suspected that he had helped the main suspect in the incident to prepare the bomb.

The suspect is due to be further questioned after obtaining a detention order.
