Sunshine Sudda Murder: Lover's Husband arrested by cops

COLOMBO (News 1st):  Another suspect had been arrested in connection to the killing of a drug dealer and gangster, Amila Prasanga Hettihewa alias Sunshine Sudda, yesterday (12).

Accordingly, the husband of Sunshine Sudda's mistress has been arrested for aiding and abetting, and conspiring to commit murder.

The suspect, identified as a 34-year-old hotel owner residing in Mirissahena, is due to be produced before court today (13).

Sunshine Sudda was shot dead in the Warakapitiya area in the Kotawila Police Division on 3rd September while travelling in a car.

The vehicle in which the killers allegedly came to kill Sunshine Sudda was located by police and its owner was previously arrested.
