Report on vaccinating children, by Thursday

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Minister of Health Keheliya Rambukwella states that he is due to receive the report of the committee appointed to study the vaccination process of school children, by next Thursday. He said that the report will be presented at the COVID-19 Task Force to be held next Friday presided by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. The Committee to study the vaccination of children is chaired by the Director General of Health Services. It was decided at the committee meeting that the Pfizer vaccine will be given to children over 12 years of age in several stages.
