Economic centers open today & tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st): Steps have been taken to keep all economic centers island wide open today (9) and tomorrow (10).

The relevant decision has been taken according to the instructions of the Minister of Agriculture, Mahindananda Aluthgamage.

Accordingly, economic centers will remain open only for wholesale trade for the two days, and traders with curfew passes have been permitted to visit the economic centers to make purchases.

Meanwhile, the Minister said that certain revisions were made to the taxes levied on some vegetables on Tuesday (7).
