Police seek public support to trace heroin trafficker ‘Bob Marley’

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police is seeking public assistance to trace the main suspect connected to the discovery of over 288 kilograms of heroin in the seas off Beruwal on the 31st of August 2021.

Police released the following details of the suspect.

Name: Kaludura Chaminda Thabrew alias ‘Bob Marley’

Address: Thalahena, Malabe & Udumulla, Battaramulla

Age: 41 years

Profession: Multi-Day Fishing Vessel Operator

Sri Lanka Police also released two images of the suspect to be made public.

Police have already arrested five suspects in connection to this drug haul.
