COLOMBO (News 1st): The Consumer Affairs Authority says no permission has been granted to increase the price of wheat flour recently.
Its Chairman, retired Major General Shantha Dissanayake, said the CAA had launched island-wide operations to find those selling wheat flour at higher prices.
However, Prima recently announced that it had increased the price of wheat flour by Rs. 12 per kilogram.
