Pay more attention to children infected with COVID-19: Pediatricians

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Institute of Pediatricians urges parents to pay more attention to children infected with COVID-19. Its Secretary, Specialist Dr. Channa de Silva stated that the approval for the administration of COVID-19 vaccine to children below the age of 18 years in Sri Lanka has not yet been obtained and it is still under discussion. Dr. de Silva said that many parents opt to have COVID-19 infected children be treated at home, however, he stressed that it is important for children to be admitted into hospitals as a vaccine has not been approved within the country to be administered to children as of yet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaVamrTsmNM
