Fire breaks out at wind farm in Norochcholai

COLOMBO (News 1st): A fire had broken out at a private wind farm in the Narakkalliya area in Norochcholai, yesterday (29). Norochcholai Police said that the fire started at around 8.30 p.m. on one of the towers attached to the wind turbine of the power plant. The fire had spread to the lower area after the pole had collapsed.
