COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Army on Friday )27) announced that it will continue operating vaccination centers and mobile vaccination fleets to administer the COVID-19 vaccine. The Mobile Vaccination Fleet will operate in the following areas: 4 X Vehicles for General Area Nugegoda/Maharagama 1 X Vehicle for General Area Army Headquarters 3 X Vehicles for General Area Ja-ela 1 X Vehicle for General Area Beruwala / 1 x Ambulance 1 X Vehicles for General Area Mattakkuliya 1 X Vehicles for General Area Kalutara 1 X Vehicles for General Area Gampaha 8 X Vehicles for General Area Jaffna 3 X Vehicles for General Area Mullaitivu 1 X Vehicles for General Area Trincomalee 5 X Vehicles for General Area Kilinochchi 3 X Vehicles for General Area Vavunia 3 X Vehicles for General Area Kandy 1 X Vehicles for General Area Galle 1 X Vehicles for General Area Matara 3 X Vehicles for General Area Kurunegala 3 X Vehicles for General Area Hambantota 3 X Vehicles for General Area Mannar 2 X Vehicles for General Area Batticaloa 3 X Vehicles for General Area Nuwara Eliya 3 X Vehicles for General Area Mathale 1 X Vehicles for General Area Badulla 1 X Vehicles for General Area Monaragala 1 X Vehicles for General Area Polonnaruwa The deployment of this fleet plus an ambulance on standby would administer the vaccine against COVID-19 visiting doorsteps of applicants only after those who need this mobile service register themselves with the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) through Hotline Nos 1906 or 0112860002.
