COVID death toll passes 8,000 mark with 209 deaths confirmed for Wednesday (25)

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's COVID-19 death toll passed the 8,000 mark with 209 new COVID deaths confirmed for Wednesday (25). This is the first time that daily COVID fatalities passed the 200 mark in Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, the total number of COVID-19 fatalities in Sri Lanka increased to 8,157.
