Police launches campaign to vaccinate the homeless in Colombo

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka Police has taken steps to vaccinate the homeless and disabled beggars in Pettah, Colombo.

Accordingly, around 100 persons who are homeless and disabled have been inoculated during a program organized by the Pettah Police and Jinthupitiya MOH office.

The relevant persons were also provided with food and water after they were vaccinated.

Police said that the inoculation program was launched to prevent the COVID-19 virus from spreading.
