Lack of faith in Easter Attacks probe; Kurunegala Bishop

COLOMBO (News 1st); Representatives of Sri Lanka's Catholic Church have reiterated the lack of confidence in the investigations taking place with regard to the 2019 April 21st Attacks.

Bishop of Kurunegala Rt. Rev. Kithsiri Fernando speaking to reporters said despite arrests being made, nothing is being said about the masterminds of the attacks.

'The government cannot sweep this under the carpet. The world is watching,' he said.

'If you think you can sweep this under the carpet, you are mistaken,' he added noting that the government investigates how the attacks were organized and who were involved in the attacks.
