10 fatalities reported due to road accidents: Police

COLOMBO (News 1st): Police say that 10 fatalities have been reported due to road accidents in the last 24 hours alone. Police Media Spokesman Senior DIG Ajith Rohana stated that 09 of the fatalities which took place, were motorcyclists. One person who was travelling in a three-wheeler was also reported as a casualty of road accidents. The Police Media Spokesman added that the daily average of road accidents are increasing every day, emphasizing that high speed and carelessness have caused most of these accident.
