Private sector health personnel assiatnce sought to curb COVID-19

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Government will be seeking the assistance of retired health staff and private sector health personnel if necessary, Deputy Director-General of Health Services, Dr. Hemantha Herath says. Responding to the media, Dr. Herath said that measures have already been taken to obtain the assistance of Tri-forces personnel for the vaccination process and further assistance will be sought from retired health personnel and private sector health staff if the number of infections rapidly increase.
