COLOMBO (News 1st); Four members of parliament have tested positive for COVID-19, confirmed Parliament Sergeant-at-Arms Narendra Fernando on Friday (06).

The members who tested positive for the coronavirus are Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Janaka Tissa Kuttiarachchi, Rohana Dissanayake, and Dilip Wedaarachchi.

Fernando said MP Rohana Dissanayake had visited parliament on Tuesday and MP Dilip Wedaarachchi had visited parliament over the last three days.

The Parliament Sergeant-at-Arms said measures are underway to trace the close contacts of the infected MPs.
