03 people die of COVID-19 per hour - SLMA

COLOMBO (News 1st); Around 03 people are dying of COVID-19 per hour on average in the country, said Dr. Manilka Sumanatilleke, the Vice President of the Sri Lanka Medical Association on Thursday (05).

"It's a race between the virus (COVID) and the vaccine," he warned, adding people with complicated illnesses such as diabetes, High Blood Pressure, and Heart Diseases must obtain the COVID-19 vaccine without delay as a vaccine will boost immunity.
