COLOMBO (News 1st): Four parcels containing prohibited substances have been seized by Welikada Prison officials after they were thrown over the boundary wall of the prison on 28,29 and 30 July.

The parcels were found to have been thrown over the wall of the prison from the Wanathamulla area.

Welikada Prison officials have seized several illegal items including two small packets suspected to be heroin, three small packets suspected to be ice, and five mobile phone batteries.
