COLOMBO (News 1st); According to investigations conducted after the accident involving deceased actress Hyacinth Wijeratne, it was revealed that she was sitting at the rear seat of the vehicle, SDIG Ajith Rohana says.

The Police Spokesperson further stated that the driver, who was produced before the Magistrate’s Court as a suspect, has been remanded until 03 October 2021.

Lidula Police is conducting further investigations into the incident, he added.
