COLOMBO (News 1st); The second dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine will be administered from 01st August 2021 at 20 designated locations, said Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi on Saturday (31).

‘These locations will be located in the Western Province,’ she said adding there is no need to panic as the vaccination drive for the second AstraZeneca dose will take place for more than one week.

After the second dose is administered to everyone who obtained the first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, it will be administered in the Kegalle District, said the Health Minister.
