Sri Lanka to receive another 02 Mn Sinopharm doses on Thursday (22)

COLOMBO (News 1st); Another 02 Million doses of the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine will reach Sri Lanka on Thursday (22), said State Minister (Professor) Channa Jayasumana on Wednesday (21).

Accordingly, the total number of Sinopharm doses received by Sri Lanka with the new batch would be 9.1 million, he said.

The Sinopharm vaccine doses that will be received by Sri Lanka on Thursday (22) will be distributed in the following manner :

Kurunegala District - 400,000

Galle District - 275,000

Matara District - 200,000

Badulla District - 200,000

Ratnapura District - 200,000

Puttlam District - 100,000

Polonnaruwa District - 100,000

Nuwara Eliya District - 100,000

Ampara District - 100,000

Moneragala : 100,000

Batticloa District - 100,000

Hambantota District - 125,000
