Basil will contest for President in 2024, says SLPPs Ranjith Bandara

COLOMBO (News 1st); Basil Rajapaksa has met all the requirements necessary to become Sri Lanka's President in 2024, said SLPP Member of Parliament, Professor Ranjith Bandara, on Wednesday (07).

He said the people are already behind Rajapaksa and there is no question about him contesting the 2024 Presidential Elections.

'What we are witnessing today are the signs of Basil Rajapaksa becoming the leader of the country,' he said.
