One arrested with Heroin worth over Rs. 10.1 million

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka Police arrested a 27-year-old suspect in Mattakkuliya along with a stock of Heroin worth over Rs. 10.1 million. According to Police, 1 kg and 71 grams of Heroin was discovered from the suspect's possession. Moreover, a car belonging to the suspect was seized, while a sum of money worth Rs. 289,000 was also recovered during the arrest. The suspect will be produced in court on Tuesday (Jun. 29). Moreover, a 25-year-old suspect was arrested by Mount Lavinia Police along with 50 grams of Heroin during a raid conducted in the Ratmalana area. Another Heroin trafficker was arrested in the Thotalanga area and 18 grams of the narcotic substance was seized from his possession.
