'If Basil is the problem solver, both President & PM have failed,' - AKD

COLOMBO (News 1st); JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake says that the ruling faction making statements that only Basil Rajapaksa can create a better future is a clear indication that the President and the Prime Minister have failed.

'Basil Rajapaksa is the operational controller of this government,' said Dissanayake at a media briefing on Tuesday (29) adding that Basil Rajapaksa as the Head of the Presidential Task Force in charge of Economic Revival and Poverty Eradication, should be responsible for the issues faced by the people at present.

Anura Kumara Dissanayake went on to note that the trinity of Basil Rakapaksa, Mahinda Rajapaksa and Gotabaya Rajapaksa have failed.
