Ranil Wickremesinghe returns to Parliament today (23)

COLOMBO (News 1st): Parliament will convene at 10:00 AM today (Jun. 23) for the second time this week, under the patronage of Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena. Former Prime Minister and Leader of the United National Party (UNP) - Ranil Wickremesinghe will enter Parliament on Wednesday (23) as the National List Member of the UNP. Accordingly, Ranil Wickremesinghe will be sworn in as a Member of Parliament, as soon as the session commences today (23), News 1st's Parliamentary correspondent reported. Furthermore, the Supplementary Estimate worth Rs. 200 billion will be discussed during today's (23) session. The Supplementary Estimate was presented to the Committee on Public Finance on the 21st of June.
