Traffic along Galle Rd will be restricted from Wellawatte on Monday (14)

COLOMBO (News 1st); Vehicular movement along Galle Road will be restricted in Wellawatte due to urgent CMC repairs.

The Colombo Municipal Council will conduct an excavation on Galle Road on Monday (14) in order to repair a sewage line in Wellawatte.

Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana said the repairs are due to a blockage.

Vehicular movement from Dehiwala to Colombo will be restricted in Wellawatte on the Galle Road and therefore Traffic Police will divert all traffic from Galle Road to Marine Drive.

"It will take around 03 to 04 days to complete the repairs, according to the CMC," said the Police Spokesperson.
