Parliamentary Council green light for judicial appointments

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Parliamentary Council has approved the appointment of several key judicial positions.
  • Parliamentary Council approval was given to appoint Arjuna Obeysekere as a Judge of the Supreme Court.
  • Parliamentary Council approval was given to appoint K. P. Fernando as the President of the Court of Appeal & Sasi Mahendran as s Judge of the Court of Appeal.
  • Parliamentary Council approval was given to appoint L. T. B. Dehideniya as a member of the Judicial Services Commission.
