COLOMBO (News 1st); 46 COVID-19 deaths were confirmed in Sri Lanka on Sunday (06), said the Department of Government Information.

It noted that zero deaths were reported on Sunday (06), and the 46 fatalities were in fact reported from the 17th of May to the 05th of June.

Accordingly, the total number of COVID fatalities in Sri Lanka climbed to 1,742.
