COLOMBO (News 1st); 10 people have died and 01 person remains missing due to the present inclement weather in Sri Lanka, said the Disaster Management Center on Saturday (05).

These deaths were reported from the Ratnapura (03), Puttlam (01), Kalutara (01) and Kegalle (05) Districts.

According to a situation summary, 02 people were injured due to various weather related incidents.

The DMC added that 219,027 people from 54,126 families across 08 Districts were affected by the inclement weather.
