COLOMBO (News 1st); 42 COVID-19 deaths were CONFIRMED on Thursday (03), said the Department of Government Information.

03 of these deaths had occurred on the 03rd of June while the other 39 fatalities were REPORTED from the 11th of May 2021 to June 02nd 2021.

08 the deceased had passed away at their residences, while 03 others died on admission to hospital.

The Department of Government Information said 31 other deaths occurred while being treated in the hospital.
