COLOMBO (News 1st); A 14-year-old boy is reported missing after he was swept away by strong currents in Marawila.

Sri Lanka Police said the boy accompanied by two friends was making his way towards this home which was inundated when the incident took place.

A search operation is currently underway to locate the missing boy.
