COLOMBO (News 1st);  The Director General of Health Services confirmed 07 deaths that occurred on Sunday (30 May) due to Covid-19 virus infection. Apart from that, 29 Covid – 19 deaths that occurred between the 2nd and 29th May were also confirmed.

Of them 01 death each was reported on the 2nd, 6th, 7th, 11th, 12th and 17th of May and 02 deaths on the 19th May and 01 death each on the 21st and 24th May, 03 deaths on the 25th May, 02 deaths on the 26th May, 03 deaths on the 27th May, 05 deaths on the 28th May and 06 deaths on the 29th May were reported. Accordingly, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 1441.
