32-year-old female among 39 COVID deaths confirmed on Friday (28).

COLOMBO (News 1st);  The Director General of Health Services confirmed 03 deaths that occurred on Friday (28 May) due to Covid-19 virus infection. Apart from that, 36 Covid – 19 deaths that occurred between 29th April and 27th May were also confirmed. Of them 01 death each was reported on the 29th April and 20th May and 02 deaths on the 21st May, 03 deaths each on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th May, 08 deaths each on the 25th and 26th May, and 07 deaths on the 27th May were reported.

Accordingly, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 1,363.
