COLOMBO (News 1st): All passenger flights arriving in the country will be suspended starting from midnight on Friday (May 21) until the 31st of May, taking into account the prevailing COVID-19 situation, the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka said.

However, this would NOT affect the operation of departure flights from Sri Lanka.

Moreover, cargo flights will also be allowed to operate without any hindrance, the CAA further noted.
