Record 3,600+ COVID cases reported in Sri Lanka on Wednesday (19)

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka recorded a total of 3,623 COVID-19 Infections on Wednesday (19), the highest number of cases ever recorded in a single day in Sri Lanka.

3,591 of these cases were from the New Year Cluster and the remaining 32 were those who returned from overseas and tested positive for the coronavirus.
