COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Army personnel were deployed to multiple locations to carry out rescue operations in flood affected neighborhoods.

Following images were released by Sri Lanka Army of a relief and rescue operation after a branch of the Benthara River exceeded spills level.

Further, Sri Lanka Army personnel also carried out rescue and relief operations in Akuressa, Kamburupitiya, Athuraliya and Malimbada areas.
