Special Trains for essential service workers in Public & Private sectors

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Railways said it will operate additional trains from Thursday (13) for passengers employed in essential services in the private and public sectors and travel from distant locations.

Passengers must confirm their identity by producing their official ID in addition to the NIC accompanied with a letter from the head of the institutions.

Morning Trains:

01. Kandy - Fort, Colombo (OfficeTrain)

02. Mahawa - Fort, Colombo (OfficeTrain)

03. Chila - Fort, Colombo (OfficeTrain)

04. Bolawatte - Puttlam (Special Train)

06. Beliatte - Maradana,Colombo (Office Train)

Evening Trains:

01. Fort, Colombo - Kandy (OfficeTrain)

02. Fort, Colombo - Mahawa (OfficeTrain)

03. Fort, Colombo - Chilaw (OfficeTrain)

04. Puttlam to Bolawatte (Special Train)

05. Maradana, Colombo - Beliatte (Office Train)
