Eravur man arrested for promoting LTTE ideology

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police arrested a 56-year-old male identified as Navaneethanpillai Mohan of Eravur was arrested on Sunday (02) under the provisions of the Prevention of Terrorism Act.

He was arrested for promoting the LTTE ideology and was connected to 14 criminal cases, said Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana. Sri Lanka Police also seized his communication devices and CID Computer Crimes Division personnel will travel to the North to assist in the investigations, said the Police Spokesperson.
