Mobile phones, chargers and heroin seized from Kalutara Prison

COLOMBO (News 1st); Prison authorities seized two parcels containing contraband hurled over the walls into the Kalutara Prison.
A total of 08 mobile phones and phone chargers were recovered from these parcels. In addition, 30 narcotic pills and 158 packets of heroin were also detected by Kalutara Prison authorities. The Department of Prisons said an investigation is underway.
