Harin Fernando files FR against arrest attempt

COLOMBO (News 1st); Opposition Parliamentarian Harin Fernando filed a Fundamental Rights application with the Supreme Court seeking an order to prevent his arrest with regard to the 2019 April 21st Attacks.

The application was filed by Attorney-at-Law Sanath Wijewardena and the Director of the Criminal Investigations Department, Inspector General of Police, Minister of Public Security, and the Attorney General were named as respondents.
