COVID-19: 03 Expressway workers test positive; restrictions at Kottawa Interchange Exit

COLOMBO (News 1st): Tickets will not be issued to any vehicle that enters the expressway network from the Kottawa Interchange from 06:00 AM on Wednesday (28), said the Road Development Authority.

"Three employees at the Kottawa Interchange had tested positive for COVID-19 and thus a decision was made not to open the ticket counters from 06:00 AM on Wednesday (28), said a RDA statement. Only buses and ambulances will be allowed to exit the expressway from the Kottawa Interchange, it added.
